PT. Gorga Utama Energi
Gorga Utama Energi, established in late 2011, has over 15 years of operational experience. The company initially focused on renewable energy, primarily developing hydropower and Mini Hydro Power (PLTA/PLTM) projects, which remained its core business through 2017–2018. As part of its business evolution, the company expanded into broader renewable energy segments through 2020, including biomass, particularly palm kernel shells, and solar power. From 2018, regulatory changes and a less favorable investment climate slowed project execution, with the company maintaining its role as the exclusive Indonesian agent for the Spanish generator brand Indar Ingeteam, specializing in hydropower generators.
Since 2022, the company has undertaken a strategic business transformation, repositioning under the premium brand Gorga Trade with a primary focus on international trading and logistics. This includes commodity trading across grains product including wheat, coconut, coffee, coal, and other strategic resources, as well as the export of palm kernel shells for co-firing applications. Renewable energy remains a complementary segment, supporting generator imports for PLN projects, with eight successfully facilitated initiatives to date. Today, Gorga Trade leverages global partnerships, operational expertise, and integrated supply chain capabilities to deliver efficient, reliable, and scalable solutions that create strategic value for stakeholders and international partners.
